For the first time, curator Fatoş Üstek has introduced a unifying theme, In the Shadows, reframing shadow not as something ominous but as a generative space where memory, myth, and material intersect. Highlights include Andy Holden’s bronze birdcalls, Reena Saini Kallat’s sound sculptures, and Jaune Quick-to-See Smith’s moving tribute to Indigenous memory, alongside thought-provoking works from Erwin Wurm, Burçak Bingöl, Henrique Oliveira, and Grace Schwindt.

More than a sculpture trail, the programme also features live performances, processions, and workshops, making it a cultural day out as engaging for children as it is for adults. Families can wander between monumental works, discover sound and movement woven into the sculptures, and experience art outside the confines of a gallery — with the park itself becoming part of the adventure.
